Fine Art Giclée Prints

Fine art Giclée reproductions are really the ultimate test for a printer. While an artist may choose from among thousands of paint colors, including specialty paints such as metallics or irridescents, the  Giclée reproductionist must accurately photograph and then re-create the original work, using the 9 to 12 inks available in the printer. Often, out-of-gamut (non-reproducible) colors are encountered, and must be approximated as closely as possible, with subsequent touch-up by the artist if necessary.


Since we create high-pixel-density files, and the RIP powering our printers is the finest enlargement software in the industry, significant enlargement of your artwork is feasible.

Pick-up / Delivery

Show of hands, Please: Who among you wishes to hand their original artwork over to one of the nationwide parcel delivery services, knowing what sort of damage can result? Nobody? We thought so. Certainly, if you're brave enough to send an original to us via delivery service, feel free, but we think a much more reasonable approach (at least for Colorado's Front Range area) is to just have us pick up you artwork, and deliver it back when the reproductions are complete. Delivery of completed work includes a DVD bearing a printed surface showing the inventory of the artwork contained therein. If you're somewhat flexible about pickup & delivery dates/times, there's often no charge for this, due to our other business appointments. We can usually pick up your artwork in the same workweek that you call, and deliver it back - with reproductions - one or two weeks later. Rush jobs might require a special trip or advanced notice; we're flexible, if you are. There's never more than a $25 pickup or delivery charge within a 50-mile radius of Denver or Colorado Springs.

Framing

Following your approval of the work, the next step is Framing. We work exclusively with Riveting Frame and Design of Littleton, CO.  The folks at Riveting provide absolutely Top Quality results at shockingly reasonable prices. We can function as an intermediary, but if your tastes are elaborate, we urge you to visit their shop, where you'll find consummate professionals willing to devote the time with you to produce a finished product of Highest Quality. Riveting can also ship the finished work, safely, anywhere in the country.

Rates

Photography: We charge $25 per image for photography (no external photo files, please). Subsequent reprints from works we've previously photographed do not incur this charge. Volume discounts apply; contact us for details.

Printing:  Rates vary depending upon the desired media. Mounting/Framing charges are not included.
