Print Life
While the Wilhelm Research Institute (WRI) indicates that Canon Lucia
Inks should remain fade-free for 100 years if displayed behind glass
under normal indoor conditions, we're a bit skeptical of the accuracy
of such numbers. As such:
You can expect our Bare Prints
to be Fade-Free for 50 years, if reasonably cared for in terms of
mounting (glazed with Glass or Acrylic), and not placed in your
solarium or hothouse. Caution: Bare prints aren't waterproof, humidity-proof, or physically
durable, which is why we recommend Lamination or mounting under glass
or acrylic
You can expect our Canvas and Top-Laminated Paper Prints to
be Fade-Free for 50 years
If any print of ours fails the above criteria, we’ll make you another, at no charge to you.
