How this Site Works


We’ve arranged this site to help you send us your photos, organize them, and tell us what you want done with them, on an individual or group-of-photos basis.  Our unique Online Photo Gallery contains tools that help you choose the media, treatment, and mounting methods for your images. We‘ve developed a few quick training videos (none over 5 minutes) for you to quickly learn how to get the most out of  our site. The basic steps are:

You're in Control of the Panorama Printers Workflow.



Preliminaries: Sign up for a Panorama Printers Account

When you first sign up for an Account at Panorama Printers, Spark, our Photo Processing and Order Gallery, will open, and ask you for the name of your first Gallery. Give it any name you wish; you can always create other Galleries later.


1: Send your Photos to Us


  • Via the Web: After you've Signed Up for an Account at Panorama Printers, you'll receive information about your Private FTP Drop Box on our site. You can use any FTP Client to upload your files. Click here for a discussion of File Formats we handle and prefer, including Raw Camera Files. Your Uploaded files are brought to our attention, and we download them to our LightRoom database.

  • Via Physical Shipment: When we receive physical shipments of photos from you, we immediately scan Prints, Slides or developed Negatives, and those resultant scan files are stored in our Lightroom database. If you send Photo Files on disk, those are downloaded to Lightroom as well.


Once we have your photos safely backed-up locally, we post them to your Gallery. We then inform you via email that your galleries are ready for viewing in Spark.



2: Organize and Create Print Jobs


You can use Spark to organize your photos into Galleries, move photos from one Gallery to another, and select Photos for  Print Jobs. In those Jobs, you can:

  • Alert us that the image needs Restoration or Retouching

  • Tell us you want several photos combined into a Panorama or Composite Photo

  • Indicate the Media you'd like for the print, choosing from a variety of Papers, Canvas, and Signage

  • Select from a variety of Finish and Mounting styles, or ask to Try Something Different

  • Indicate the size of Final Image you'd Like

  • Let us know if you want Hard Proofs of the work

  • Enter final comments and Special Instructions for us


Choose the Print Jobs you want built, and click Create Order to send your order to us for Review.
If all is well with your order, we'll "Approve" the job, which makes the monetary figure in your Orders page, a Firm Quote.
You can then pay a small deposit to Authorize the Agreed-upon Work.



3: Preview and Pay


Your Authorization/Deposit from Step 2 signals us to begin the agreed-upon work.
We'll perform all Edits, and post the Final Electronic Image to our Site for your Review (Hard Proofs are also available).
If the results meet with your approval, you can arrange Final Payment, and we Print and Ship to you.
If you don't like the results, we can make adjustments at that point, and re-post the revised image until you're satisfied.
You can then arrange Final Payment, and we'll print and ship.
